Great Room The original garage had been converted into a living room before we started but the area was renovated along with the rest of the project. We removed the original roof structure and added a 2nd floor over the family room. This area has a vaulted ceiling and balcony that looks down into the art studio. The library ladder provides access to more storage space in the attic of the main house. The powder room has a small custom-made vanity cabinet with hammered copper sink tucked into the corner. The wood paneling on the walls and in many of the cabinet details was run in a ‘temporary’ woodshop we set up in the garage.
